Kit, Sweet P and VictorYa

Let's wrap these bitches up, shall we?

We did not love this dress, although that probably has more to do with the ugly fabrics than the dress itself.

It's your basic baby-doll silhouette, which is fine. Sorta flattering, but the skirt's probably a little too full.

We thought the idea of using the patterned material was sound, we just don't like this material, that's all. Good enough to squeeze by.

This is the best, most finished garment Sweet P's managed to throw down the runway.

It's simple, but she made good use of the materials and stuck to proportions that were going to flatter her client.

No, it's not the most fashion-forward design in the world and the drabness of the color weighs down an already potentially-drab garment, but again, it's good enough to squeeze by. She and Kit need to step up.

Ironically, VictorYa took a step down this week.

Honestly, if we didn't know who designed this dress and had to guess, VictorYa would've been very low on the list.

When we haven't liked her work, it's usually been due to differences in taste. Even when we don't like it, we see a style and an expression that comes through loud and clear.

This? This looks like a 20-year-old Simplicity pattern.

Just another drab, boring, refitted, non-everyday wear garment. It's barely distinguishable from the one that got Steven auf'd. She should've gotten a slamming from the judges over it.

Rami & Ricky

Well, he's fun to look at, but he is seriously lacking in the drama. We're still hoping for a tear-streaked meltdown.

On the other hand, he finally produced something that made us sit up in our seats.

See, we just haven't been wowed by Rami's work so far. It's all technically stunning, but we detect a serious lack of...well, style. Everything just looks so done.

Not so with this piece. This really jumped out at us as a fantastic transformation and a great look on its own.

That bitch worked it. Granted, he went for that assymetrical top, which gives her a titscrepancy and we don't always love that.

But it's a fantastic skirt and the whole look is incredibly flattering - her ass looks great - and (finally!) stylish-looking.

Oh please.

Girl, don't act like you "needed" to see how the hem looked with heels and haven't had your eye on those shoes from the first minute you walked into the workroom and your little gay heart leapt inside your chest at the sight of the Bluefly Accessories Wall.

This...

...looks just a little hootchie to us.

As designs go, the top is okay. You could find a similar top in any department store. A little flashy and low-cut and see-through, but you could pair it with the right pants and come off looking okay.

These are not the right pants.

They're just too tight and they cut her in half. The sausage effect on the jeans coupled with the jingly-jangly low-cut top just cheapens the whole look. She's looking a little honky tonk to us.

But of course, Ricky's not here to make clothes and win a competition.

Ricky's here to FEEL.

Will somebody please give that girl a Midol? She's falling apart!

Jillian: Superstar

"The shirt that I was left with had a lot of seaming and darts...so I found the exact same color ..."

Ladies and Ladies, it's international sewing superstar JILLIAN, starring in The Arbitrary Judging Follies of '07!

SEE: JILLIAN as she decides the rules don't apply to her!

GASP: As JILLIAN tries to get one over on the judges!

MARVEL: As JILLIAN totally works a Fiddler on the Roof look while she's breaking the rules!

Remember the credo of Project Runway, darlings: The Rules Only Apply to Losers. The judges were all, "Oh Jillian, you minx! You completely disregarded our instructions and only used a tiny little bit of the fabric to make ugly racing stripes? We LOVE it!"

We, on the other hand, don't love it. It could just be a fit issue, but that makes her look awfully thick around the waist.

We like the pleating but we just don't like the black stripes running down the dress. We suspect she thought it would be slimming but we think it does exactly the opposite.

The neckline looks very nice on her, although we didn't think the racer back was such a hot idea.

All in all, it was a perfectly serviceable effort. It's just that she really should have gotten a little more criticism for simply buying cheap fabric and making a dress instead of making something out of the existing fabric. But she's a Judges' Pet and that just wasn't going to happen. They raked Steven over the coals for not using his source fabric (and granted, for making a really shitty dress) but barely had anything to say to Jillian about doing the same thing.

Elisa: Off on her own.

"I was thinking we could make it a little...FAH!"

"A little--?"

"- and then on top we could make it go SWISH!"
"Swi--?"

"-and then when you walk, you'll go FAHSWISH FAHSWISH FAHSWISH! You'll probably have to talk real loud so people can hear you over the clothes, though. That's okay. TALKING! LOUD! IS! FUN!"

"..."

"I'm going to be right back, mkay? Just have to talk to one of the producers for a sec."

Aw, we kid because we love. She's been cast in the "wacky" role and we admit, it's not totally undeserved, but all Elisa's really shown herself to be is a sweet, unconventional, talented person.

That unconventional sweetness is a real advantage to her because so far, it's allowed her to sail blissfully through the competition without the slightest bit of stress or drama being exhibited.

Which isn't to say that she's always producing top notch work. This is wrong, wrong wrong.

First off, that jacket's poorly made. Secondly, it's just a bad design for that woman.

Too youthful, too many layers, and the Duchess was right; it divides her up and it makes her look stumpy. And not only does the hem on that jacket practically draw arrows pointing to her hips...

It also reminds you that she has ass cheeks as well.

These were all good reasons to put Elisa in the bottom this week, but in the end, the judges chose the bullshittiest reason to condemn her, as if they were longtime friends of the client.

"How do you feel in it, Tracy? To me, it just doesn't look like you"

"I agree with all of them here. It's all very you but it's not very Tracy."

"What the fuck, bitches. We've exchanged like, 10 words total since we met yesterday and you dropped me in the lap of Tinkerbell over here."

"Hmph! She's funny!"
